SHIPPING Policy
All orders placed by 5:00pm EST will be processed the following business day and will ship to arrive next day. Because of the perishable nature of our products, we ship via Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS overnight service, Monday through Thursday only. Orders received on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. For urgent or special requests, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
To preserve the high quality of our products, all orders are packed with frozen gel packs prior to shipment. While these provisions will keep our tarts, products will thaw slightly (and sometimes fully) during transit. Rest assured that this will not affect the tart quality. You may consume them immediately, keep them in the refrigerator for a day, or return them to the freezer for up to three months.
Shipping costs are based on the number of boxes ordered. You will see the shipping costs calculated when you place your order. Shipping is added at the time of checkout and varies based on zip code and weight.
Deliveries must be made to a street address. The recipient’s phone number must be included in the order (very important!), to enable the shipper to call in the event of delivery questions. Delivery to PO boxes, APO locations, and addresses outside of the US is not possible at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
The Daphne Baking Company will not be responsible for orders received with incorrect delivery addresses. Please remember that our products are perishable. Any specific instructions for delivery should be noted upon ordering, and someone should be at the designated address the day of delivery. Packages will be delivered without signature, and no credit will be issued if the recipient does not find the package on the date of delivery.
Return / Refund Policy
As our products are perishable, all food sales are final. The Daphne Baking Company will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit, or to refund you the full amount of your purchase. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives.
The Daphne Baking is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location as a result of incorrect address information supplied to us, or for the inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day specified. We wish we could assure proper handling and prompt receipt of packages once they have been delivered to the correct mailing address by the third party carrier (Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS), but this, of course, is out of our control. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand. Shipping/handling charges are not refundable.
